"I missed my exit, and the next one plus a third before I had to exit and drive back home."

Barbara S.

"Reminds me of Ted Dekker when I first discovered his books. I didn't want to put them down."

Debbie D.

"The plot was a good depiction of the spiritual warfare we face in our life."

Meet The Author

Hi, I'm James.

I write Christian fiction because it deepens and encourages my own faith — and hopefully yours too. By day, I work in supply chain for a company that takes Sundays off very seriously and "my pleasure" isn't just a phrase for those persuasive cows. By night, my wife and I are chasing our daughters around our North Georgia backyard, building blanket forts, and sneaking in writing time in the early morning hours.

Light of the Ark hit #1 New Release in Young Adult Christian Fiction, which still blows my mind. I never set out to be an author (I was a math guy!) but I had a story I just couldn't shake. Turns out, a lot of readers couldn't shake it either.

When I'm not writing or parenting, you'll find me swimming, eating wings, or hanging with our ridiculously fluffy cat, Porkchop.

Thank you for being a reader. Your reading makes my writing come to life.
